Within A Square by Maynard Lyndon

Maynard Hale Lyndon has thoroughly enjoyed painting only on square formats since starting this series in March 2025 at his LyndonDesign studio in Healdsburg. Thus, the title, “Within a Square.”

After making hundreds of square 3D “Looking Boxes” for many years at The Sea Ranch, he's delighted in painting small works (8"x8" and 12"x12") on deckle-edged thick Indian rag cotton paper, plus a few paintings on 12"x12" birch panels, using acrylics, watercolors, and colored and black pencils.
